Internship Program
Brief Program Overview and Qualifications for Internship
The SGV Tax Advisory Internship Program aims to provide interns with practical on-the-job training,
hands-on mentoring and learning opportunities. Interns will be exposed to actual tax engagements,
participation and in tax sessions, webinars for technical and soft skills enhancement, and industry
knowledge. The program will also provide Interns to experience and understand SGV’s culture and
purpose.

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in law school on their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year.
• Can demonstrate integrity, leadership, and eagerness to learn.
• Can start their internship by June or July 2024.
• Can work on hybrid or full on-site working arrangement.
• Applicants on a voluntary arrangement are welcome to apply.

Additional notes:
• Average of 15-20 slots are available. However, this may be subject to change depending on
business need.
• The duration of internship is flexible since the firm is following the university requirement.
Should you want to be on a voluntary internship, the firm suggests at least 200 hours in total.
• Onboarding of Law student interns happen every mid-year, one batch for June and another
batch for July.

Qualifications and Requirements for Employment
Qualifications:
• A Graduate of Juris Doctor Program or Bachelor of Laws
• Lawyer (may or may not be a CPA), underbars are open to apply too
• Has excellent analytical skills, which include the ability to gather relevant information, process and interpret data, and solve problems.
• Effectively communicates verbally and in writing, and has excellent presentation skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Committed to working under flexible arrangements, which may include working from home and doing fieldwork, if needed.
