Requirements for Employment and Internship

Enrolled in a reputable law school program (i.e., Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent legal academic program.

Excellent command of the English language.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and legal research tools (i.e., Lex Libris, etc.).

Eagerness to learn and be exposed to real and live legal matters.

Ability to maintain confidentiality in all legal matters exposed to.

Duration and Schedule of the Internship
The VAL Law Internship Program is offered during the summer break where the law student has the
option of completing either the 120-hour or 240-hour program. The interns will be required to report
to the VAL Law Offices where they will be working in close proximity with VAL Law’s lawyers to
optimize their experience.

VASIG | ABARQUEZ | LUMAUIG | ABARQUEZ | PUNO Law Offices (“VAL Law”) offers highly motivated law students an opportunity to be exposed to the legal profession as practiced in real and live legal matters. The VAL Law Internship Program allows individuals to bring new perspectives, innovative ideas, and latest research experiences into VAL Law’s daily operations and complement their legal skills while working in a multicultural environment.
The objective of the program is to provide law students with first-hand experience of the day-to-day operations of VAL Law by closely collaborating with the Partners, Associates and Non-Legal Staff. As part of our team, working directly with the Partners and Associates, interns will get the chance to contribute to the legal services offered by VAL Law as well as participate in high profile cases and matters during the term of the internship.
